Needs decorating to make it look & feel better & cleaner. Bathroom was nice & clean, looked fairly new. Bed was comfy, but we were on the top floor which was 6 (short) flights of stairs up. Was good that it had a fridge, microwave, Hairdryer & iron. They said they could store luggage but it was just left in reception. Breakfast was ok, very small room.

The reception was closed when I got there, so had to navigate paying & accessing the hotel over the ring doorbell which wasn’t ideal. Everything else was fine, but purely used the room as a base. A good breakfast in the morning which was needed!

This is I think our third stay at Regency House, first for a few years, and it’s still as good as it always was. Room was clean with great amenities including a fridge and microwave. Bathroom tiny but perfectly functional! The breakfast was very good. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in the heart of UCL student area but with the window closed, we were pleasantly surprised that there was hardly any noise to be heard from outside. The hotel is 15 minutes amble to Tottenham Court Road station so very well placed. We’ll definitely be back again, maybe a different room as the bed in the Captains Cabin is a bit difficult to get out of!

Decent hotel reasonably priced for London and conveniently located. A good option for solo travellers on a budget but not keen on shared rooms. On the minus side, it feels a bit worn-off at time. Also be mindful, I didn't see anyone at reception during my stay. The hotel functions as a sister to another hotel located a few minutes down the road (as a spillover hotel) where there is a reception, but here you are a bit left to yourself. Except that you receive lots of messages (too many in my opinion). The presentation of the hotel says that there is a garden, access to it was closed throughout my stay (you have to go through reception to access the garden and since no one was at reception...)

After a long day of train, taxi, ferry then train from Dublin to London, I was looking forward to checking in at the Regency and putting my feet up. The automated check-in after 7:30PM was a little cumbersome and confusing, however the reception gentleman next morning was chatty and very friendly. We had some mail delivered ahead of time whicch was placed in our room before arrival so we were very appreciative of this service. Reception offered without charge to look after our bags AFTER we had checked out which was exceptionally kind of Regency. The tasty breakfast was an unexpected bonus, so definitely worth considering if staying near Euston station. Don't get confused by the out of sequence room numbers!

Great hotel in a clean nice neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the family room with four beds so nobody had to share. Breakfast was great with a full English or simple Egga on toast if we wanted. The underground was only a block away so it was very easy to get where we wanted to go.

We stayed here June 2026. The room was clean, very efficient (small) but suited our needs just fine. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, so having 3 separate beds was ideal. Location to transit and walking to shopping and dining was great. The included breakfast was fantastic. They have made to order menu with several options to please everyone. The breakfast staff were very nice. We have stayed in the area before, and this hotel was as expected in that it’s an older building, but it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom updated. We enjoyed our stay.

After being outside in the heat it was bliss to find my room cool from the air conditioning. It was fully equipped, with kettle, tea/coffee etc, toiletries and a hair dryer. There was also a mini fridge, microwave and a tv! My room and bathroom (newly decorated) was clean with towels and lovely crisp white sheets. The location was perfect! Oh and my breakfast was wonderful too! I even had that in the quaint garden! Thank you and I know where I will be staying on my next trip to London.

The Regency House Hotel is a small establishment on Gower St. The street itself can get noisy at night. The hotel itself was great. It's conveniently located near Tottenham Court Road with easy access to busses and the underground. There are good restaurants within easy walking distance. The team that runs the hotel is very hard working and caring. They made sure that our needs were met, and they were invariably friendly and helpful.

I had to wait 30 minutes at the front door to get in, this at 10.30 when it stated on the door reception hours from 7.00 am. The receptionist turned up at about 11 with no apology for keeping me waiting outside with my luggage. The hotel is very 2-3 star. The room is depressingly tiny, but expected at this hotel low price for London . Breakfast was included in a confortable basement kitchen. My room was very clean. But the mattress was awful - should have been thrown out years ago - had no strength at all. Ok for one night in transit but I wouldn’t stay there for more nights. Was quiet at night which was a plus.
