Excellent on almost every level. My room was a little tired but nothing wrong with it. I will be returning to Monterrey and Anataris no question. Being across the road from paque Fundidora (with a pedestrian bridge) it made it the perfect location for the concert I was attending, sight seeing in Fundidora itself and acees to the canal taking you to downtown for shopping. I could not have asked for a better hotel, location or staff. They were very accommodating with my limited spanish and the restaurant was excellent. Great food and drinks everytime and the pricing was excellent as well. Again, I could not have asked for better.

Unexpected Hotel Revelations

My 1st floor room overlooking the front of the hotel had one large single pane window with a blackout curtain that didn't help insulate my room from the heavy traffic and near freezing temperatures the week of my stay. The thermostat didn't work and after complaining for the 2nd time I was finally provided a space heater the last 3 days of my stay. Also, there's no electricity in the room unless your room key is inserted into the wall key card holder while you inhabit the room. Some of the wall light switches didn't work so I had to manually unplug the nightstand lights. I could have removed the room key from the wall to darken my room but that would have kept my phone and pc from recharging. My bathroom shower leaked water from various sources via shower door and underneath the adjoining glass partition. The hotel restaurant was great as was the service. Unfortunately there isn't a bar so the steps away Chillis restaurant provided for me one.

NO TE HOSPEDES AQUÍ

El aire de nuestra habitación no funcionaba, nos movieron (solo por una noche) a la suite presidencial, llegando me di cuenta que en el baño el vidrio de la puerta (todo estaba cubierto de vidrio) estaba roto, no lo reporte ya que solo era 1 noche y supuse que ya lo sabían. Al otro día que bajamos para que nos volvieran a hacer el cambio de habitación nos dijeron que ellos nos cambiaban a la otra habitación, cuando regresé y pregunte, nos querían cobrar $6,500.00 por el vidrio. Cuando les dije que no se los iba a pagar (Además nos amenzaron en que no nos darían nuestras cosas hasta que pagaramos), nos dijeron que ok con no pagar pero que ya no nos podíamos hospedar ahí, pedí mi rembolso y me dijeron que no me iban a dar nada, después de discutir me dieron las tarjetas de mi habitación vieja. NO SE HOSPEDEN EN ESTE LUGAR, ESTA VIEJO, MAL CUIDADO Y TE VAN A INTENTAR SACAR DINERO DE CUALQUIER COSA
