This is such a gem. You can't beat the location and charm. It is an older building with such a great feel to it. Staff are always so pleasant and the restaurant and lounge are so relaxing.

We love the feel and the location of the Sylvia. The bar restaurant is a happening place and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a boutique hotel so it is definitely not a concrete jungle. Stanley Park is just outside the door. Love this place.

Lovely staff, I stayed in an apartment with a kitchen which allowed me to cook for myself. The views from the room were great. Great location too, especially for Stanley Park. Would highly recommend.

A lovely hotel located just steps from English Bay. Room was updated, but the hotel still had the charm of another era. Staff were helpful, especially the restaurant where the food was delicious and well priced for a hotel restaurant.
