Eltina Hotel
"Thank you for an excellent stay."
Aristea Hotel Rethymnon
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything felt exceptionally clean and well maintained, with a calm, relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Our room was light, airy and spacious, with a recently refurbished boutique feel. The small kitchenette was very handy for snacks and chilled drinks, and the partial sea view was a lovely way to start each morning. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always greeting us as we came and went. They shared helpful local knowledge and arranged a taxi to Knossos so we could avoid organised tours and arrive early, which really supported our children’s neurodivergent needs. Although we booked room only, we enjoyed snacks from the pool bar, and the food and drink options were great. The location was ideal: our teens could easily access the nearby beach and shops, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Staff also recommended quieter spots further along the beach for sunbeds. The pool was a perfect size, and all the facilities we saw were tidy and well maintained. We especially appreciated the relaxed vibe, the helpful staff, and being close to restaurants without being in the busiest part of Rethymno. Minor downsides were the small bathroom and limited storage — a chest of drawers or extra shelving would have been useful, and the wardrobe needed more hangers. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily return."
Nautilux Rethymno by Mage Hotels
"Amazing stay at the resort! The pool and beach were both amazing, very comfortable sunbeds and very clean. Service was slightly lacking at the pool and restaurant and the prices for drinks by the pool were quite high. The buffet dinner was excellent, and the breakfast was good as well. The room was lovely and very clean. Overall, we would recommend as a resort but we would choose to stay closer to Old Town on our next visit."
Atlantis Beach Hotel
"Excellent service from the staff at the hotel at breakfast and at dinners. Clean rooms with modern fit out. Overall well located property with easy access to old town and the beach ofcourse."
Grecotel LUX ME White
"Had an amazing time and amazing staff!"
Aquila Rithymna Beach
"Excellent. We were a family of 3 and it ticked all of the boxes, aqua park, kids club, various pools (with very friendly lifegaurds), and beach, good selection of restaurants and a beach bar. Also a few Tavernas within walking distance and so you are not confined to the hotel."
Elina Hotel Apartments
"Excellent location and very good room for family. This include two showers and toilets Very helpful staff and good breakfast"
Creta Palace, A Resort to Live
"We had a superior sea view room which did not disappoint. We only stayed 3 nights but thoroughly enjoyed it. Evenings are chilled, and daytimes we used the private beach. An overall luxurious resort."
Aquila Porto Rethymno
"We had a wonderful few days at Aquila Porto Rethymno. The property is beautiful and well maintained and with many additional facilities and games than expected. We went mid-June and had a wonderful time at the pool and beach, easily finding chairs, however, the drinks service was slow. The breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful. Very convenient location with easy walking distance to town."
