Room was clean. The pool could have been a little cleaner, but was fine for our purposes. Hotel had everything we needed. The staff was beyond helpful and very friendly - especially Patrick in the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect! Walked to Oak Street Beach and the Museum of Ice Cream. We also walked to Navy Pier, but I recommend taking CTA for that in hindsight ;). Great shops and restaurants nearby.

Several aspects of my stay ranked five stars: clean room, coffee and some food available on the 4th floor, very helpful staff. Very thoughtful that earplugs were provided, as the excellent location of the hotel means a good amount of noise. The door took a fair amount of effort to close, and I had to get accustomed to double checking that I had closed it. The TV was a bit involved to operate and the menu didn’t always match the actual programming. These last two issues contribute to my score of 4/5.
