The room was big and nice. The pool was fantastic. Overall the hotel needs an uplift of their rooms, facilities and improvement on their cleanliness. Please remove the cats, so many stray cats around the poperty.

Great pool and good food, bad drinks and no beach
Pool is fantastic and service is great, but the drinks have no sugar and the alcohol seem to be wrong in taste, really bad. Rooms are good, clean and new. There is sadly no beach in front of the hotel, but you can walk to a "worn out" beachfront in 10 minutes, trashed by flooding, where swimming is not allowed due to currents! Take a daytrip south to get to nicer beaches.

This Miri Marriott and its sister property Mulu Marriott in Borneo, is fabulous. I injured my leg and they were so attentive without me asking for any assistance, I was pleasantly astounded! The people were just amazing, the service was impeccable, the facilities gorgeous, everything and everyone was very efficient without losing the caring aspect, and total quality service that exceeded my expectations. Thank you and thank you again.

Would not stay again. Food beyond expensive and almost not inedible. The pillows were so hard and flat it was better to sleep without them. Very very disappointment given the amount of money that was spent. A lot of spa treatments that was advertised were not available this was also the case for drinks at the bar. Would not stay again nor recommend.
