First solo trip with my little ones, I had a situation with a neighbor, and Mr. Scott was literally an angel in civilians. He was able to get the situation under control and put my worries to rest. The room was cute, a little out dated. I'm sure you could cook, as there was a stove and toaster oven, but no oven. I never saw a single bug or spider! The bed was clean, but old as the springs in the mattress dug in while trying to sleep. The staff were great.
