Very good, but…
The location, building, and breakfast are all top-notch. However, what detracts from the overall impression is the absence of a proper lobby—replaced by a café/restaurant—the room facing the inner courtyard with exposure to a terrace used for parties, and the fact that bottled water wasn’t provided as a complimentary amenity; instead, guests were directed to tap water (a 33 cl bottle cost 11 SGD). Additionally, the sun loungers were rarely sufficient on fine days.

Spectacular service, beautiful hotel
After an 18 hour flight, I had forgotten to get cash before getting in a cab that only accepted cash. When I got to the hotel with only my credit card, the staff at the drop off did not miss a beat and escorted me to registration and promptly paid the driver. Unbelievable service to immediately fix a nightmare issue of my own making. The hotel and room are spectacular and flawless. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Heritage hotel in a fantastic location
The hotel is very grand in a traditional way and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was always friendly and helpful. We arrived at 8.30am so paid for an early check in, as we had straits club access we had a lovely breakfast and a glass of champagne. The Straits Club serves a champagne breakfast, extensive afternoon tea and cocktails and an extensive light meal in the evenings. We have stayed at many hotels all over Singapore, The Fullerton is hard to beat for location and traditional Singapore style.
