Grand and cheap hotel - very odd that we had a group booking with 2/3 in some rooms. The receptionist would only give one card per room even though they were just cheap swipe cards.

When I first checked into the room, there was a faint gross smell that was alleviated by the window being wide open. Once I closed the window, within several minutes, the smell became so strong that it was unbearable for me. The bed sheets had blood stains on it probably from the previous guest that stayed in the room. I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff but was told to just keep the window open and it was too late for new sheets because the housekeeping staff weren’t available. I had also found several bugs in the room that I managed to kill before I went to bed. In the middle of the night, I was woken up by the noise of bugs flying near my bed. I woke up to find a huge mosquito in my face. When I went into the bathroom, I found that underneath the sink and the walls in the room were infested with bugs. It was disgusting and horrendous. There was no way that I could’ve gone back to bed to get any rest so at 3am I went down to the lobby to notify the front desk about my experience again. The agent responded to me by handing me a can of bug spray and denied any sort of room exchange or other methods of compensation. DO NOT STAY HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They double charged me. Didn’t clean the room. Didn’t supply us with towels. It was a real nightmare. They then decided to double charge us even though we booked and paid through hotels.com. Stayed there three nights as was paid for upfront or I would have changed hotels immediately. AVOID at all costs
