Hotel has been remodeled and is lovely. it is very conveniently located close to shopping and to Wrightsville Beach. it is just an Uber for easy drive to downtown Wilmington. The bed was very comfortable. Climate in the room was great. Bathroom was clean. Definitely will stay here again.

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were really clean and nice. The hotel staff was the best we’ve had anywhere we have ever stayed at. If we were to have to visit again we would definitely choose to stay here. This was my very first stay with Doubletree and we were really impressed. The bar was the perfect touch to our stay allowing us the ability to have space to watch the Duke and Carolina game.

Room was fine and clean. Walls are paper thin - could hear the next room’s alarm clock and a guy yawn. Mattress was very hard and springs squeaked when I rolled over.
I heard everyone leave and let their heavy doors shut starting at 4:30am.
