The room details was not clear that there was NO ENSUITE BATHROOM AND SHOWER. In the room details under room amenities, it stats "bathroom", bathtub or shower, etc. I felt cheated on this front. There is only 1 shower stall for each gender on the first floor, and there is 1 toilet and maybe 1 more shower stall on the other section of the property. There is also only 1 toilet on the first floor. This is supposed to serve all the guests in the property. Hostels have more toilets and showers compared to this property.
Stayed here for 5 nights. The backdoor is a ski in/ski out which is perfect if you don't want to walk up the street after a long day of riding. Transport can also be arranged to bring you to another resort, but it is chargeable at a fixed rate. Pick up and drop off during arrival and check out is provided free of charge.
Staff were all friendly even though some of them do not speak english. The dinner (chargeable) was pretty good as well. However, do note that there is only 1 dish a day, so it is best to ask the staff which meal is served for the day. We did not know this and ended up not having what we wanted to eat.
The walls were also pretty thin. So think that you can hear people from the opposite rooms down the corridor talking. There also seems to be a bad habit of people slamming the doors during my stay.
It is unfortunate that I will not stay here again unless every other accommodation in Tsugaike was fully booked.

The staff at the property were so kind and helpful, from dropping/picking us to the happo mountain and sharing local recommendations. The view from each room is so pretty in the winter! Snow! As well, breakfast was complimentary and was delicious and offered a beautiful view add ski in/out access to Tsaigake mountain.

Beautiful lodge on the edge of the ski slope at Tsugaike Kogen ski resort. Spectacular views from the window in our room of the slopes and surrounding mountains.
