No go stay away
A terrible check in experience largely due to the a lady called Tori I believe claiming to be the “Manager” who was rude, unhelpful and played the victim when asked why our parking space was not available! We were forced to park 3 blocks away in unsecured public parking despite her assuring us she would provide parking on the premises the very next day. She was no where to be found after the first day. A complete lie of course. We were forced to change rooms as the AC did not work with no help with our luggage only to be given a single key for 2 people to use. AC in the new room was fixed at 16 but felt like 20 deg. The bed was made, not changed, but no other cleaning took place while we were out of the room. Bathroom is from the 1960’s with a shower forced into the bath and clearly designed with midgets in mind. Even the body wash stunk like body odour. The outside bar closed at 8 pm so no opportunity for food or evening drinks anywhere else on property. The so called swimming pool is actually a plunge pool at best with room for about 3 midgets. In short this place is a “no go stay away” hotel and to be avoided at all costs. Hotel rooms clearly out number parking spaces so be sure to cycle or take public transport to the hotel. Tori needs to be relieved of her duties immediately before things get completely out of hand!

Check in was fine room was ready early. The rooms are in need of a total update they also need new pillows and carpet steamed cleaned. The bathroom rooms were not clean the soap dispensers looked like it had never been cleaned and the shower leaks. The vanity was falling apart just needs a total remodel. Hotel is dated and in need of some deep cleaning - my bathroom had cob webs in the shower and hairs on the walls. Front desk staff are so friendly. Speed of service is nonexistent in the bar area by the pool. Black out blinds are great but then the bathroom windows light up the place.

I honestly don’t think I would stay there again, the road traffic was horrible very loud, the rooms need to be sound proof. The staff were great just a horrible room experience. So if you love road noise, loud cars then it’s for you, if you want quite don’t bother.

Vibe is worth the wait, my 1st stay enjoyable.
The wifi was the best I've ever used in any hotel before!! It was so easy, quick & most of all no time consuming process with having to enter a number of pass codes to enter to access the wifi. The only thing I didn't love about it was the room service wasn't very good but it was a speedy delivery none the less.

On arrival to the Vibe hotel we loved the lobby and public areas. That’s where our postive experience ended. On arrival to our room the first thing we noticed was the absence of a sofa. As we were staying for 5 nights this inclusion was part of the reason we booked this hotel. The image on Expedia still shows a sofa in the room. When we asked at reception about this we were advised they were removed and her exact words were “you wouldn’t want to sit on them anyway” Unfortunately we did not get her name. No apology just that she would see if maintenance could find one. They obviously never did as we never heard another word. Cleaning was touch and go and the rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. Dented fridge, mouldy bathroom. The dining table and chairs are dated and uncomfortable to sit on for periods of time (as we had no sofa) there was only one glass, one wine glass and one coffee cup in the cupboard. The public areas are great and well kept. Great coffee on site and close to everything in Surfers but unfortunately we will never be back-definitely not the standard we had hoped for.
