A very cool place to stay! Highly recommend - the ship is old so expect the rooms and furniture to all be old. They could upgrade the rooms a bit - replace carpets and some of the furniture!

Queen Mary; perfect pre-cruise location!
My family chose to stay at the Queen Mary as a novel alternative to our usual pre-cruise hotel… SO GLAD we did! The floating historic landmark was charming and made our stay much more memorable! It was also so convenient to be able to walk from the Queen Mary to our cruise terminal (even with our bags!). Added bonus — the chowder at the Chowder House (hotel restaurant) was incredible! Friendly staff and plenty of historic artifacts made this a must-see!

a night in a historic liner
had another great stay on this iconic liner from the past. our cabin A145 was beautiful with the veneer wood paneling and clean bathroom. beds were comfortable and it was nice to open the portholes for fresh air.

Coolest old hotel ever
Such a freaking cool place to stay! The rooms are the actual state rooms from when the ship was a cruise liner, so they are a tad run down, but so cool! The ship is beautiful, they have a very cool 'museum', coffee shop, restaurants and some shopping. We had a wonderful time exploring the ship. The best part was that you only have to walk across the parking lot to get to the Carnival Cruise port.

The Queen Mary stay was simply amazing. The history alone made it worth it. The rooms however need some TLC. New outlets, replace some light bulbs, extra cleaning. Such a great attraction, just needs some TLC. Will return though!

A great stay
This is a great stay. A cross between serious history and beauty and camp. Through today's eyes, you do get taken back in time. Do a tour. The Chowder House restaurant is excellent food even in a very average environment. Staff were all so wonderful, helpful. We didn't even see all that there was to the ship...ran out of time. So many great displays etc. Room had a comfortable bed and great linens. You have to give up a little modern conveniences, but this is history, right?

Let me say fruit flies all over our bathroom! Overall experience was basic. We had a lot of fruit flies in our bathroom. Only thing they did to accommodate the inconvenience was paid the parking. I think they could have done more.
