The staff were great. But you could tell how old this hotel was. Lots of repairs and updates needed. Beds were clean and comfy. Not the hotel’s fault but definitely noisy around this area. Would stay again though.

Mr. Douglas was fantastic at the front desk. The rooms were pretty small, and the walls were paper thin. The beds were very comfortable. It was a very walkable location, close to so many things. Keep in mind that the dumpsters get dumped every night and that can happen any time between 3 and 5 am, so if you’re a light sleeper, that could be rough. I would stay there again.

It’s a boutique hotel in San Francisco. Understand that it is not like a Marriott or Hilton, and don’t expect that type of experience and you’ll enjoy your stay here. The beds are comfy, though firmer pillows would be nice. The Bathroom was clean, had good water pressure, and enough room to maneuver around. Good walking distance to restaurants and public transportation. Also easy access for ride services to pick up and drop off from.

Stayed here during tech week and it was literally the perfect spot. Could use some updating but i was there to work and came back to room to sleep. Staff was really helpful and let me check in early even though no rooms were available he made sure the next one was ready for me. Will be staying here again.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby until the day I checked out, I felt welcomed and well taken care of by the staff. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and the service was exceptional, especially from the front desk and guest services teams. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming! While you’re at the Pickwick hotel, don’t forget to check out the nearby restaurants, including SOMA Restaurant & Bar and Zevi Cafe. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! ☺️

I arrived in the morning, and I had expected to just drop off my bags and go about my day until check in. But the were able to find me a room and I was able to get it, and be able to drop off everything, take a nice shower and then go about my day. Only downside was the ice machine was down. But that’s about it. Wonderful experience, 10/10

This is my fourth visit in 4 years, to the Pickwick. The location was great. The hotel is getting old but is quiet and comfortable and the restaurant is great. House Keeping leaves much to be desired, I only had one visit in 4 days.
