This hotel is over 100 years old, but is very well kept, attractive, and comfortable. One elevator was out of order while I was there, but there were not long waits for the other. The adjacent restaurant is excellent, and the attached parking garage is incredibly convenient. I have read reviews that claim the hotel has no air conditioning, but it does (the windows also open if you prefer). I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful historic property.

But Recommend rooms facing rear of bldg, as street side rooms can be noisy, even with double windows. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a bit old, the rooms are small and there are definite signs of wear everywhere. While I don’t mind these things generally, it was not very clean. You could see mold in the showerhead. This place was ok. I arrived to my room my bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned and our fridge was leaking water and didn’t work. So we asked for a new room the gave us a new one right away which I appreciated. The hotel itself charges 60$ to park in the garage which they said they can deduct from deposit but you can pay cash only 30$ which the front desk was upset about when we were leaving. Overall the stay wasn’t the best but not the worst either.
