Needs updating and small rooms but excellent location minutes walking from Union Square. Bathroom very small. Beds comfortable. For a couple of nights it was ok.

Nice enough hotel in a great spot. Room was cramped and the hotel a bit noisy but this is what you get in an older building by an area with night life. Staff was helpful, room was clean. It was fine for one person for one night but for a longer stay I would choose larger accommodations

Labor Day Weekend
Very nice hotel. Updated, but still lots of original charm. Staff were very pleasant. Excellent location. Close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, Union Square, BART, Muni. Felt very safe in the surroundings.
