I had a very nice stay at the InterContinental hotel in Chicago. I went there to visit the American Girl store with my 3 daughters and 6 granddaughters. We had the same young man check us in and out and he was very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were very nice and the Center Court had great breakfasts. We were very close to all the attractions that we hoped to visit in our very short stay.

Overall, it's fine, I suppose. The lobby area is really nice and somewhat grandiose, but the room itself seemed like it could use a refresh. Our refrigerator did not work, and our a/c was wonky (on a particularly hot week in Chicago). But the location is fantastic! There are few better places on the Magnificent Mile, and you can walk to everything. Michael Jordan's Restaurant is very pricy as is their breakfast place, but Casa Chi is a gem with a fantastic happy hour and great staff. I'll probably stay somewhere else on my next trip to Chicago, but it's not bad if you can book at a decent rate.
