We loved our stay! The hotel is in an awesome location and has almost everything you need within the property. That said- the pools and beach were crowded- hard to get seating. We did enjoy the adult pool, but would have liked to take advantage of the other pools/beach too. Staff was helpful, property beautiful, room quiet and clean. Close proximity to buses, which we used for our stay.

Stayed there for five nights and it was pretty pricey for the room that we got. For almost $650 a night, we should have gotten atleast an oceanfront but we didn’t… although the lagoon view was pretty good. We just expected more for the price. The pools were always busy and we were only able to use it once for 30 minutes, as we could not get lawnchairs at all. It was disappointing to say the least. Also, the water in the pool was pretty murky, even first thing in the morning when we pass by. Not going back.

The Hilton Hawaiian village is a great hotel to stay at especially for large groups. We traveled with our toddler and he loved the beach, the pool and the food options. Everything is close by and everything you would need is on site. They are also located in a great area with shops and restaurants near by outside of the village. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk agents to housekeeping everyone was always so nice. We stayed in the tapa family room and it was big enough for our group and we all slept comfortably. We enjoyed all the events that the hotel has planned out as well like the fireworks show on Friday nights. Overall it was such a great experience for our first time in Hawaii and will be going back.

Unfortunately the report was way too crowded and using the pools was not possible. Took forever to get an elevator to your room and then they were insanely packed with people. Rooms were also not great. The newly renovated Rainbow Tower was a joke. Something was splattered on the walls and ceiling, and the AC couldn’t get the room below 74 degrees. I had to prop my room door open to get the cool air from the hallway in. Elevators had missing screens and exposed wires. Just overall kinda sketchy. The food was average, but very expensive. The staff, however, were very polite and helpful where they could be. Would not recommend staying though based on the high prices and overcrowding.

I stayed on the 20th floor of the Rainbow Tower. We had a renovated room with a great view of the ocean/beach/Diamond Head. The hotel pools were fun for the kids and the daily yoga sessions and cultural events like making leis were also a big hit. The staff are friendly and the resort looks good. Location is also great to walk to downtown Waikiki or to Ala Moana. The only knock is the elevators in the Rainbow Tower looks to be in refurbishment and many times will get backed up with long waits as there are many guests waiting on each floor or the lobby to use them. Also the wireless is a bit spotty with slow speeds or dropped connections at times. Otherwise the shopping and food options on resort were great and this was a great choice for my family’s vacation!
