It was a cute nice hotel. The customer service was great and very friendly. The rooms are very simple. Nothing special. It was not mentioned on the site, but they charge an additional fee for parking. The area around the hotel is questionable. There's a very large mall next door that has shut down and is boarded up. There are unhoused people sleeping all around there. It felt safe during the day but it was questionable at nighttime. I felt like I had to watch over my shoulder. The traffic on Cicero Ave is very loud.

Check in was fast and the guy at the desk was nice. The hallway to the room smelled like weed, the actual room smelled slightly of mildew. The bathroom was tiny and I kept hitting my elbow on the sink when I used the toilet. We were on the first floor with room on highway side and the noise was really bad. The bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked very well. I did not research this hotel to learn that there was no pool, and the breakfast was $15 per person, needless to say we did not partake of the breakfast. They charged $23 per day for parking. I would not stay here again. It was ok, but not up to par of the Holiday inn we are used to staying at.
