Beautiful hotel and good location. My only issue is that they didn’t have a little shuttle from the hotel to the bus loop that goes to Fussen. It was hard to roll our luggage that far (even a golf cart would have been helpful).

8/10 Very good

Perfectly clean and comfortable but lacking the “special touch”. Seemed understaffed, especially in the restaurant. Half board menu was the same each night - would have expected a wider variety of options. Took a while to get served. Booking spa treatment didn’t work online but managed to get a massage booked eventually and that was a good experience. It was just small things that were a bit disappointing. Flowers on the breakfast tables were dead. Grass was not mown outside our ground floor room and it looked quite messy. Overall, it was an excellent location for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and the lake but more attention to detail was required.

10/10 Exceptional

This charming hotel near the castle was one of the highlights of our trip! The atmosphere was so quaint and welcoming, giving us the perfect Bavarian experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of fresh and local offerings to start each day. The location could not have been better—just a short walk to the castle tours, making it easy to enjoy one of Germany’s most iconic landmarks. We also loved being within walking distance of the lake, the breathtaking mountain views, and the delightful local shops. The entire area had such a fun and inviting vibe, and the hotel was the perfect place to relax and take it all in. Between the beautiful scenery, convenient location, and warm hospitality, our stay was incredibly enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again!
