We were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel. The recent reviews were all really positive, and the extra amenities like robes and slippers in the room, AC, and a mini fridge, made us choose this hotel over others. Unfortunately when we checked in there were no robes and slippers in our room, the fridge wasn't working, some lights on the room were broken, and the AC had been turned off for the season. The hallway our room was on as well as our room was very warm, so we had to open the windows to cool the room off. However we were on the 1st floor facing the courtyard and the coming and going of guests was loud throughout the noise so we had to close the windows to keep the noise out.
The mattress is comfortable, however the pillows were very uncomfortable - hard, flat, and lumpy. When we asked for more pillows because our were uncomfortable, we were told that all the pillows were the same and that there were no extra pillows in the hotel for us to see if they might be more comfortable than the ones we had.
We brought our concerns to the front desk staff, and while everyone was polite, we were met with a bit of a "it is what it is" attitude. None of the staff really went above or beyond to help us or try to solve our issues.
Overall our stay here did not meet our expectations and was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel at all. There are many other hotels in this area if the location to the train station is what you're looking for.
