The Caravel impressed us right away with the personable staff who offered an upgrade for no additional cost. The room is dated but the beds were comfortable and the room well equipped. It was everything we could need for a short stop to sleep. Some areas needed cleaning, but I think the cleaning staff are short and didn’t see the upper shelves and such. Well worth the price.

It was a really good stay at this motel. Stayed there biking cross country with my Parrot. The tenants , Yolanda and Luis were really accomodating and easygoing. Room 129 : real comfortable bed. Expedia description [10$] regarding cost for animals dows not match automatic message [20$] nor office [15$] price. Confusing.

I’ve stayed here a few times and always had a wonderful stay! Even if the hotel looks a little dated form the outside, the rooms themselves are perfect. They are clean, updated and have all the amenities (including a fridge, microwave, towels, shampoo, clothes hangers, coffee maker, etc). There is no complementary breakfast but they do have pop/bottle water available for free. It’s fairly close to the highway, and you can hear some highway noise but I have never found it too bad. Plus the staff are wonderful people! I travel as a solo female felt safe. Especially when you consider the price I would definitely recommend staying here.
