I normally stay at chain hotels and took a chance on this place based off their reviews. I was not disappointed! The woman at check in was super nice. The room was perfect for a business trip situation and the breakfast bag was perfect for hitting the road. They have a large parking lot with assigned parking right in front of your room. I would stay here again!

Sunset Motel is a gem! A spotless, comfortable property that is full of Route 66 charm. Pre-arrival communications were clear, comprehensive and welcoming. Check-in was seamless and friendly. Peet’s coffee was a treat in the room as were the thoughtfully placed outlets/charging ports, making it easy to recharge phones — no putting the phone on the floor in the corner here! Room #9 was beautifully appointed in mid-mod mode (vintage but not worn) and scrupulously clean. It felt to us that owner/operators loved and were proud of this establishment. So were we!

Fab Route 66 motel. Perfect if you are hauling trailers behind. Lots of parking. We checked in super late—after hours. I called to let them know late in the evening and they were still hospitable and organized a self check in. Goodie bag of fruit and pastries awaited. Plus we filled our cooler with complementary ice. Lovely people. And the rooms are super clean and have maintained their 50s-60s vibe
