From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed with our stay. We had wanted a romantic trip together. The room we were given was not at all private. People constantly walking back and forth, looking in. Employees hanging out outside our room taking their balls. Literally no privacy at all. We had specifically chosen a room with a balcony because we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view, but were given a room without one.
The solutions we were offered were insufficient. We were shown one room upstairs which was filthy and dusty.
A manager, "Jay" bothered us at breakfast the next morning. Instead of letting us eat in peace when we made it clear it wasn't a good time to talk, he wouldn't leave and kept insisting the employee hanging out outside our room wasn't smoking. As if that changed the fact that we still had no privacy.
The day of checkout, he again approached us. "I was going to offer you a treatment at the spa, but since you already booked something, nevermind." So why even say that? The customer service skills and etiquette of the employees here are severely lacking.
