This is a gorgeous property! We stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding and had a fabulous time. Although our hotel room was in the older wing of the hotel, the room was in outstanding condition and spotless. The staff and the food/beverage options are also great! Highly recommend and feel like this place is a hidden gem given how remote it feels but yet how relatively close it is to CPH.

The place is incredibly cozy with lots of nice lounge areas with comfy chairs and fireplaces. 3 outdoor pools were heated and we enjoyed the sauna with a sea view. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Bed was comfortable, but could have wished for a pillow alternative that was more flat. All in all a great stay!

Best spa experience with amazing service

The size of the hotel was a positive surprise with many bars, pools and restaurants. Overall design of the hotel was also 10/10 and something you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Only minus was that they did not serve bloody marys!

Exceptional overall experience

We had a great experience staying at Maryhill Estate. Clearly there has been put a lot of attention to every single detail when it comes to the interior, which is lovely. All of the areas were beautiful and service from all staff was exceptional. I can definately recommend stayiat Maryhill Estate and I will for sure be back as soon as possible :)

Luxurious hipster vibes with stunning grounds

This was a wonderful experience. The pool vibe was fun and unexpected. It had very few tourists, which was a nice change. Most of the guests were Swedish. The amenities, pools and grounds were gorgeous. We ate dinner here which was delicious and the menu varied. We also were very impressed with the breakfast buffet. It’s a little off the beaten path, but worth it!

We had an overall pleasant stay. The buildings and facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the surroundings are very nice. A couple of small things could improve the experience. The background music was playing constantly and quite loudly, with many speakers around the property. While background music is fine, it sometimes felt a bit overwhelming, especially in the restaurant where it mixed with the general noise level. There was also music playing outside near our room around 10 pm. We also had dinner in the restaurant. The staff were friendly, but the service felt a bit unstructured and inexperienced. Our reservation was at 8 pm and after being seated we quickly received a small starter, but then waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the main course, even though we had ordered tartare. It seemed like our table may have been forgotten. Overall a nice place, but a bit more attention to the smaller details would make the experience even better.

Come to party, not to relax

Beautiful hotel - but only for partying.. Booked a room on a Sunday to be free from most partying, but whole hotel caters so much to partying, that the ‘lounge-techno’ plays outside over the (empty) outside pool area until midnight and again from 06.00.. Hotel rooms cannot keep the sound out - and inside the temperature is fixed to 24 degrees (with 2 moveable fans placed in room, so my guess is that this is a problem overall…). Stuck between desperately wanting to sleep for the warmth with open doors but not wanting the loud music in the room… Breakfast was as expected for the price (no table service of any kind, only filter coffee). Beds were good. Shampoo (I hope that was shampoo..)was stuck to the walls in bathroom, but otherwise looked clean. Only 1 large towel in room or person even though we spend the time in pools and needed more showers. Plenty of vehicle chargers which was expensive (6 SEK/kwh) but worked like a charm. Loved the view from the pool at 08.00 in the morning when we had been awake a while during the loud music, and therefore had an early breakfast and the pool to ourselves when it opened. Very tired, when we left.. did talk to reception about noise - they gave us this room because we asked for a silent room…

Truly a magical stay. I don’t think I stopped smiling for my three days there. Gorgeous property with the friendliest staff, and everything we ate was amazing. Best breakfast I’ve ever had a hotel with countless local options. The grounds were pristine and the pools are stunning. Really can’t say enough good things about our stay. We will definitely go back.

I completely had been mislead by this property. I was hoping for a quiet, serene manor by the sea and, in reality, got a party hotel with music blaring, even in the halls, constantly. The most disappointing aspect was that the hotel felt like a dog kennel. There were dogs everywhere! Barking in rooms next to us. Stains all over the carpet and that dog smell in your room. The dogs were all over at breakfast, too. Breakfast was a challenge, hundreds of people trying to get food and you end up eating cold eggs at a coffee table. If you want a peaceful stay, this is not the place.

I spent 2 nights here with my teenage daughter for a “girls getaway” and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful room, facilities & landscape. We enjoyed all 4 pools, sauna, sea, gym & restaurants. One day the weather was not great and the pool club indoor area still allowed us to feel like we were on holiday “at the pool”. Very high staff to guest ratio meant that we never had to wait long for snacks or drinks. What I particularly loved was the choice to have games everywhere. Adults playing ping pong, darts, chess, connect-4 was so fun and kept people (also us) off phones! Somehow they have created a place that works simultaneously for couples young & old, families & groups - that’s not easy. We’ll be back - next time will be sure to play paddel. If I could wish for anything different, it would be that there were regular playing cards available alongside other games and a safe in the room. Since I don’t want to wear my jewellery in the pool, I would appreciate a safe place to keep it. Thanks for a brilliant stay, Maryhill

Vi fik det sidste ledige værelse på hotellet og det det var lidt pudsigt indrettet, da det var et skævt værelse, men det gjorde ikke noget. Døren ud til badeværelset var lidt svær at lukke, men det var også det eneste minus. Pools var fantastiske og rart med en masse mulighed for afslapning, selvom musikken i poolområdet godt kunne være lidt høj.
