Historic Downtown Coronado
Coronado's historic city centre pairs Victorian elegance with beach bliss in a postcard-perfect setting. The iconic red-turreted Hotel del Coronado stands as a grand centrepiece amid Orange Avenue's charming boutiques. Pristine white sand beaches invite lazy afternoons, while the Mediterranean-style Ferry Landing offers spectacular bay views and upscale shopping. Beach-to-table dining dominates the food scene with fresh seafood and craft cocktails worth every penny. Getting around is easy—leave your car behind and explore by foot, bike, or hop on the free Coronado Shuttle. The ferry from city centre San Diego delivers you here in just 15 minutes for a perfect day trip or luxurious extended stay.

Glorietta Bay
Glorietta Bay delivers prime San Diego eye sweets with scenic waterfront paths and killer skyline views. Walk along the water's edge, watch luxury yachts glide by, or take a short stroll to the famous Coronado Beach. The bay's calm waters make it perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, while the nearby Hotel del Coronado adds historic charm to your coastal adventure. Upscale waterfront restaurants serve fresh seafood with bay views worth every penny. Most visitors stay in luxury resorts or boutique hotels that offer full amenities and concierge services. Getting around is easy on foot along manicured paths, though having a car or using ride-sharing services is best for exploring beyond the bay.

Bayside
Coronado's Bayside serves up dreamy waterfront paths with postcard-worthy views of the San Diego skyline. Stroll along the scenic promenade where the bay laps gently against seawalls and boats bob in the harbour. Coronado Ferry Landing offers cute boutiques and perfect photo spots, while nearby Centennial Park delivers prime sunset-watching real estate. Seafood restaurants and upscale cafes dot the waterfront, making mealtime an event with those killer views. Getting around is best done on foot or bicycle along the well-maintained paths. Hotels here lean luxurious, with rates to match the million-dollar scenery.

Silver Strand
Silver Strand delivers the beach holiday dream with pristine shores along both Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay. The scenic coastal highway invites you to cycle, stroll, or drive past endless ocean views. Water lovers flock to Coronado Beach and Silver Strand State Beach for swimming, paddleboarding, and watching magnificent sunsets over the waves. Beachside cafes and resort restaurants serve fresh seafood with ocean views. Accommodation options range from luxury beachfront resorts to holiday rentals with premium amenities. Getting around is best by car, bike, or walking along the well-maintained coastal paths that connect the major beaches.

Coronado Cays
Coronado Cays offers an exclusive waterfront escape where luxury meets the bay. Private docks line this upscale residential community, perfect for watching sailboats glide across San Diego Bay. The Mediterranean-style homes and condos create a resort atmosphere that feels miles away from tourist crowds. Water enthusiasts can enjoy direct bay access for boating adventures or stroll along uncrowded marina paths. Getting around requires a car, as public transit options are limited within this peaceful enclave. While dining and shopping are minimal in the Cays itself, Coronado Village's restaurants and shops are just a short drive away. Holiday rentals with private pools and bay views make this area ideal for travellers seeking upscale tranquility.

Sheraton San Diego Resort
"Hotels. Com was fantastic easy site the Sheraton hotel was very clean updated look and Staff checking in was very accommodating. The Housekeeping staff very helpful and took care of any requests The pool is well maintained clean area and towels. Great exercise facility updated equipment and very clean. The 2 restaurants one for breakfast was very good and the X Brewery also had good vibe and food. Very close to San Diego Airport. About 10 to 15 mins with car to Little Italy, Seaport Village and Petco Baseball Park. The only thing that was a little much was paying for Hotel parking that was $50 a day for self parking , valet was $67 a day or walk across the busy street for $ 15.00 a day. Make sure if you stay at this Hotel ask for a High floor for views floors 7 or higher ask for Marina view normally they are even room numbers 😁"
Wyndham San Diego Bayside
"Clean room, great location"
Handlery Hotel
"Rooms are a little outdated but otherwise pool is clean and large, bar and grill nearby, restaurant on site, close to many local activities. Great price for a nice hotel."
Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego
"Fantastic location. Market is criminally expensive. $8 for cup of coffee!"
Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
"Had a great stay. The issue we had was in the sports bar area. We were watching a fight on the TV and it got changed. I asked why and they said a lady was upset."
Bahia Resort Hotel
"The staff were very nice, loved all the things to do around the hotel. Would visit again."
The Sofia Hotel
"Location was good for exploration"
Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton
"Room was really nice and clean, with a large outdoor patio (we were in a garden room). However, it was really loud at night with people moving around on the floors above us. A lot of loud thudding noises, not sure if it was people closing doors or what. The pool and beach are nice, but some of the pool loungers are all ripped up. You also have to pay additional for beach chairs. With the amount you are paying to stay, I would expect this to be included. Overall, we had a nice stay, but you could easily stay somewhere less expensive and still take advantage of many of the hotel amenities. For example, the beach chair rental is only $10 more for non hotel guests. Parking was also very expensive,"
Loews Coronado Bay Resort
"The staff was amazing providing great customer service. The rooms can use some updates but I highly recommend for a short stay."
