This property refused to check us in the evening, due to unfortunate unforeseen issues that had accured with our trip to Turkey from Australia, they offered us a less than pleasant alternative and we had to book another place on the same day we were scheduled to check into Onkel. Very angry and unhappy about what they did, and would like to demand a full refund.

Soon as we arrived everything felt like a big lie and a con which put us at unease and fearful. First we were told we had no reservation , clearly we had all the paperwork. Then security directed one of us to a rival apartment , the rest were left in 35 degrees heat on the footpath for 5 hours. Here a web of lies were spun confusing us to the point of fear , where are we to stay, who is the real Onkel, where is our reservation, the two rivals began arguing and the police were called as the children still sat outside on the pavement. We resorted to calling Expedia to help us , instead of as planned an afternoon in the pool we were in limbo fearful and confused. Would not recommend to any one.

Nice ans quite but in needs of some maintenance
The self catering apartment was lovely with very modern facilities but in need of some maintenance and a good old deep clean. Same goes for the downstairs gym and spa facilities. On the bright side - great living space, air conditioning and storage, good food in the restarrant and lovely and very helpful reception staff :)

Beautiful apartment hotel
The apartment and surrounding area is beautiful and scenic. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday. We stayed at the 3 bedroom apartment which was spacious, decorated to a high standard and clean, couldn't have asked for more. One thing that I found quite annoying were the stray cats. My daughter is allergic and I am terrified of cats. When we would sit down to dinner at the poolside cafe the cat would come under the tables. We complained to the staff and hotel management but nothing was done about it. In the end we had dinner delivered to our room. That was the one thing that put me off otherwise it's a lovely place and definitely would recommend it.

Good and quiet area for the vacation
The location is good as we had a car and didn't care very much about night life. If you want to make your own food, there are many grocery stores around that you can buy fresh food every day. The pool is nice and it is a very quiet area if you want really to rest, that is the place to go. The beach isn't so far, it is even better to walk than to take car as it takes much longer:) The shower was not good as it was pouring just from one side and the dish container fell from the wall and when I complained about it, the receptionist said she will check, but she never did it. The internet connection was bad most of the time and nothing could be done about it. I would appreciate more information how to get to the apartment, the address that is on the website brings you to the whole complex and there are many buildings, so to know where you need to go isn't so easy, but once you know, no problem.

The apartment truly excellent!
We found the apartment truly excellent. The friendly staff were vigilant and attentive to our every need. Every question we had about an area, unknown to us, was meticulously answered and maps and plans were given to us when we asked for directions. Our car was carefully looked after. The room was comfortable and very well looked after by the domestic staff. We were pleased to have BBC World News on the TV in our room.The restaurant was an attractive setting for the excellent breakfasts and good value for money. Our final impression was particularly good, as we had an early departure for the airport and the apartment gave us an early breakfast long before the dining room was officially open. We would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Antalya.

Excellent family break!
We loved our stay at Onken Residence. It was so relaxing and peaceful, away from the noisy city, lovely pool, bar and fitness suite too was included in the price, thought it was excellent! Range of shops are just couple of minutes away even one across the road to get your grocery bits and cook your own meals, fully furnished equipped with all your daily needs. I didn't want to leave, just felt like home!
