Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Two things that keep it from 5 stars are (1) poor use of space in the room. What happened to Scandinavian design? It wasn’t a terribly small room, but nowhere to put anything. Useless empty space around sink, weird nightstand design. And horrible zone/time lighting scheme. Can’t individually control anything. I hate that. (2) location is bit out of the way for most tourist sites. You should get comfortable with transit or scooters your first day. Waiting for an Uber or taxi can take a long time in the neighborhood the hotel is in. We missed a walking tour our first morning because we couldn’t get an Uber or taxi despite giving ourselves a 15 minute cushion.

A very “together” luxury hotel, we so enjoyed our stay. Even in the rain, the staff were ready with umbrellas to offer and directions that helped. The breakfasts were beautifully displayed with many nutritional, fresh items and plenty for younger folks wanting something sweeter. Love our room, turn-down service was appreciated and the spa was a treat every time.

Fabulous find!
We arrived late at night after a long day with a very quick turn around for the next leg of our journey. The young man who checked us in was so calm and professional and helpful… he even got me some hot water early in the morning to make my tea. Disappointed that The Theif does not honour the VIP awards as a Gold member of the scheme through hotels.com. They don’t honour the complementary room upgrade (if available) nor the late check out. Hotel was nice and central and clean, to use the spa facilities incurs an extra charge which is not made clear. We had 1x90 minute ise of the spa complementary.
