The area is centrally located , walking area to shops and restaurants.Walking distance to metro station . The room is spacious and clean with the great balcony view of the Parthenon . We arrived early and they accommodated us and have to wait about 30 min. while they finished cleaning. So we just waited on a nearby restaurant and had a beer. the only thing i we were having difficulty was to enter the facility , they gave a code to re enter the building but initially took us several tries to get in . On the door to our room there was also a key pad , it is digital and you don’t see the numbers only when you touch the handle. After that they have a key card that you use to just tap to go in . The next day i found a lady that just came in to the building but cannot figure out where to find the key pad to enter the code so i have to instruct how to, this should be communicated to the guest .Other than that we really enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Iliotropio Hotel. The location was great with lots of shops and restaurants around. We were able to walk to the Acropolis. Newly renovated clean and comfortable room with everything you need. The staff were very friendly and courteous. All in all, it was great, will definitely stay here again when we return to Athens.
