The interior of the hotel was quite appealing and clean. Spoke with some guests that had stayed there previously-they said there were many upgrades done since their last stay.
Housekeeping on the third floor was absolutely atrocious!!! Each day was a crapshoot as to what I’d end up with towels. More often than not, I wouldn’t end up with a full set, and used ones still left hanging up. Instant coffee was never replenished. Went back to my room three separate times one afternoon and still room wasn’t looked after. But…every single time I saw housekeeping in the hallway, she was always on her phone giving someone sh*t. Maybe if she focused on her job, she wouldn’t have missed so many things day after day. I will say tho, she sure did tuck in the bed nicely!
The lights in the room were sooo messed up! If I got up in the middle of the night and turned on the bathroom light, the entire room was hooked up to the same switch! I ended up unplugging some lamps nite one, as they wouldn’t turn off. Not optimal if there are two in the room as the lights would certainly wake the other person!
The shower was only enclosed 1/3 of the large opening so water was everywhere after showering - there are zero soap dishes or ledges anywhere to put ones bathing toiletries. No facecloths either.
Employees on the main floor were pleasant and helped accommodate excursions.
