Golf Hotel Kakamega

8/10 Good
"Our room was spacious, and came with a working refrigerator and hot pot. We had electrical outlets to the left and right of the bed which was very helpful for all the devices we need to charge. Outside there is wonderful green space so you can ealk around the hotel grounds for exercise. The food was the only drawback. If it was choma, then it was excellent but the regular kitchen was standard fare. All of it took 1-1 1/2 hours to prepare and they didnt take your order till they opened at 6pm so we were eating later than planned given our early morning start time. At times, we were served a few plates and the others came 15-20 minutes later. I would still highly recommend it for all the other features. The staff are EXCELLENT! Someone has taught them customer service!! We were always greeted with smiling helpful staff everywhere throughout the hotel."

This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage and vibrant culture of the area. Keep an eye out, as prices may drop during these months, making it an even more appealing option for travellers seeking budget-friendly experiences.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover enticing hotel deals when planning your Kakamega trip by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. If your travel plans are flexible, you could find last-minute discounts by checking the Last-Minute Deals section for reduced rates on Kenyan hotel bookings. Enabling email alerts or push notifications ensures you are promptly informed when prices drop, making it easier to secure a wallet-friendly getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Kakamega hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be higher, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more appealing rate.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and easy access to the sites you wish to visit. You could also explore independent hotels located further out, which are likely to provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
