The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people.
The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear.
Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good.
We took the meal package as it was well rated. It was more than we expected. The steak was surely the highlight - juicy and tender. Best I’ve had so...
Room was super good!! And the view was simply awesome. Staff was also super polite and provided all the necessary briefing for our stay. Breakfast was great too!! Also special mention to the pantry that had free flow drinks too!
We drove into Niseko so can't comment on the shuttle service. The apartment is brand new with modern facilities such as a coffee machine and Apple TV. On one of the nights, our radiator wasn't responding and it took the staff (Alex) just 10 min to pop in to check on it although it was pretty late, around 9pm. The place is a short 7 min drive away from Hirafu and Annupuri, and there is ample parking just at the apartments. The only comment we had, which was also reflected to the staff is the...
The best resort that I had stayed for my Hokkaido trip. The staff is very efficient and shout out to Mr Oda (I assume) helped my dad with his stuck luggage. Love the buffet (dinner and breakfast). Also, we love the open air onsen and fireworks. This peaceful town scene and with 7-11, gas station across the resort. It is abit sad that there is limited restaurants when we are here. However, we loved the peaceful and serene feel that Lake Toya had given us. Slow down our pace for city dwellers....
