Although the room was abit dated, we had everything we needed. Janice was amazing and did all she could for us. In the room there is a lack of sockets. The restaurant next door was excellent. Quick service and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and food was piping hot.

Great location and easy to find, plenty of parking space. Check-in quick and easy. Room on second floor easy to get to. Room basic but it has everything so no complaint. Breakfast absolutely lovely and so much choice. Also had an evening meal which was brilliant and totally reasonable price. All the staff were superb and so helpful and polite. Bar was cracking and we stayed up to watch the England game, thank you for the snacks and late night service. Hopefully see you next year.

Rooms were ok they had mostly what was needed in them, we was mostly out and about so fine for us. It Could have done with more tea, coffee , milk etc as we stayed for two nights. Not enough plug sockets literally had one for kettle , one for tv and one spare which we all by the desk none by the beds. Parking was fine always enough spaces. We got breakfast one of the days as we didn’t paid for it with room, it wasnt that great but ok. The pub next door did have a little play area which was great for my 7year old as he just gets bored very quickly.

What a lovely 2 night stay at the Royal Oak. All the staff are so nice, nothing is too much trouble. The room was a good size and comfortable. The pub restaurant is huge so no need to book. We had Sunday lunch, I had the 2 meat roast, beef and turkey which was tender and delicious. We will certainly use this place again when we're in the area. Big thanks to the Royal Oak!

Stayed here as my partner had a hospital appointment ans as part of a business trip. The location suited us for access to clatterbridge hospital and ao we could stay, park up and watch the England game. The place ticked all of our boxes based on our plans etc. The pub is big, plenty of screens for the match, we liked the QR code idea for table service especially during the game, ideal as getting served at the bar was difficult due to lack of staff, crazy with such a big world cup game being on. They had good drinks offers and the snacks we ordered were pleasant. The hotel room was ok, great service from the reception lady, topped us up with towels etc. The room was very dated, basic but we were happy enough with it. The bathroom was terrible, shower awful, no pressure and only red hot water. It definitely needs a new bathroom and a tidy up in general. The location was good with a few more pubs, bars, and restaurants nearby.

This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to help. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom which although clean needed a refurb as there was mould all over the ceiling, a crack in the sink, etc.

The room was basic, it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. This was booked as a no thrills stay for over Christmas and it ticked all the boxes, it is no thrills but it was clean, there was more than enough tea and coffee in the room. We will definitely stay here again 🙂
