The Oaks Hotel
"Great location , just a 10 min stroll into Alnwick. We had an issue with one of the door locks not working but this was quickly sorted . A really nice place , the breakfast was very good , a couple of extra touches would make it excellent , just for example some modern doors to the rooms , but would definitely stay again"
The Joiners Arms
"We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar. Some staff seemed ran off their feet whilst others seemed a little idle. We would have likely ordered more drinks had we been asked. Breakfast was great, nice choice. Love the location."
Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club
"Clean room, extremely comfy beds!"
East House
"Another wonderful stay at this charming location. Vanessa is a superb host, friendly and efficient. Room was beautiful and overall, faultless. Look forward to more stays over the coming months. Highly recommended."
The Castle Hotel
"Great position near the station and the centre of town, generous sized room recently refurbished. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights that makes the accommodation noisy, not suitable for those who need an early night,"
The Garden Rooms
"The garden room is an amazing place to stay. Check in was really easy and the staff very welcoming. The room was very clean and the cleaners came in daily topping up waters, towels etc. The hot tub was always a welcoming sight after a long day exploring. Breakfast at the Joiners arms was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a memorable one."
The Amble Inn - The Inn Collection Group
"Food was cold but staff microwaved accordingly - 30 min walk to Amble but not a nice town and the hotel is sited on the outskirts in industrial park"
Purdy Lodge
"Excellent service and breakfast"
The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
"Fabulous small hotel, friendly staff, great food"
