THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. It is in a strange part of Belo Horizonte, where the car dealerships are. There are lots of car dealerships. The building has no restaurant. Most of it appears to be condos. The only restaurant within walking distance is a MacDonalds. We took a taxi to the BH shopping mall which is 10-15m away to find a restaurant.
When we checked in the room we were given had no toilet paper, no blankets for the bed, only a top sheet, no reading lights by the bed, only the overhead light, and no hangers in the closets. There are almost no plugs for charging a phone or computer. Although the front desk supplied toilet paper and blankets when we requested them, the room is really not a hotel room, it is the second bedroom room for the condo next door, and has an internal door.
The bathroom was so small you couldn't sit on the toilet facing forward, the shower stall was in the way. Only one of the two shower doors actually worked, making it hard to get in and out of because of the toilet.
The 15th floor pool, workout facilities, breakfast room and steam bath are nice, although the pool is not an infinity pool. The pictures on the website of the rooms, and the 15th floor are misleading, The breakfast was ok, although the automatic espresso machine only dispensed hot chocolate regardless of selection.
It ended up being an interesting experience because we developed a "what next?" attitude, and it became a joke. Positives: It is clean.
