We were upgraded to an upper floor with funchal bay view. Excellent views from the room and great service from staff! Breakfast had a wide spread and was good. Take note that there are opening hours for the sea access level. The only downside was the rooms a little dated.

She was always very friendly and helpful. She even went the extra mile to change our notes into small change at another restaurant outlet; as she did not have any at the front desk. Price of room was excellent for such a luxurious hotel; room was exceptionally clean, cosy and comfortable. The hotel had an outdoor and even better - an heated indoor swimming pool which was great. The equipment at the mini gym was pretty decent as well.
