Right in the center of town near the market square and several pubs, museums, and convenience stores was an amazing location to start each day. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff very helpful. We had a great stay here! Our room was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend adding on the breakfast; it was delicious with both hot/full English and cold options. We will definitely stay here again!

location can’t be beat. adjacent to market square. anything you might need is around the corner: a Tesco express and a shopping mall. breakfast was good. the fried eggs were appropriately runny- tough to find on this kind of setup.the room was fine.

The location is fantastic, but the overall experience was disappointing. The room was spacious but had a light box instead of a window. Despite claims about the light box, it made it difficult to regulate one’s circadian rhythm. The staff were friendly but appeared overwhelmed. During a four-night stay, my room was not serviced once until I specifically requested it. I was told I had to explicitly ask for room service and give staff permission to enter, even though I left the “Please make up the room” sign on my door when I went out. If this is the policy, the hotel should inform guests beforehand. Even then, I had to ask twice before they came, and the housekeeping was inadequate. Staff removed two bath towels from a twin room and replaced them with only one towel. They completely removed the bath mat, and neither vacuumed the floor nor replaced the cups in the room at any point. The rooms are reasonably comfortable, but the poor service led to a below-par experience.

Cleaning the room is only done if you explicitly ask for it at the reception each and every day! And you have to ask them for fresh towels. The bedlinen was never changed during our stay. This is rather cheapskate for a £ 147 per night hotel.
