Zaan Hotel Amsterdam - Zaandam
"Excellent stay away from the busy areas of Amsterdam. One minute walk from the train station. Albert Heijn grocery store next door. Much closer to everything in Zandaam then it appears on the map. Excellent property. Rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend for solo or family travelers."
Amrâth Grand Hotel Frans Hals
"Clean rooms. Staff was great!"
Hotel Lion d'Or
"Excellent location for access to the train when going into Amsterdam and close to the main square and shopping. Issue we had is that they say they have A/C. The A/C was capped at 22 degrees and would shut off intermittently throughout the night so you would have to get up two or three times in the night to turn it back on. Staff told us it was fixed but it was never changed over the six days we were there. Ensure you ask about this otherwise hotel was great!!"
Best Western Zaan Inn, Amsterdam – Zaandam
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Zaandam. It was easy walking distance to a large grocery store, which made it easy for grabbing a few necessities and also an easy walk to the train station. Our room was very clean and our beds were very comfortable. We had a personal issue that we needed to take care of, and the staff went out of their way to assist us. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
Spaarnwoude Park Hotel
"I stayed for 14 days due to some work. The hotel is amazing, very clean and quite. Very nice location !"
Carlton Square Hotel
"We experienced an excellent 3 day break for 2. Nice clean room, friendly staff, dinner menu quite restricted but delicious - Chef's special a must. The hotel was perfect for visiting the area, inland or beach a bus drive away. Quiet surroundings in a fairly built up area but away from the bustle of Amsterdam. Reasonably priced for such a good quality hotel. Just note, when checking out you'll be hit with a "City Tax" Worth asking what this will be when you arrive. Apart from that, all good."
Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar
"Twin beds were ok but I would have preferred a king."
Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Oude Gevangenis - Alkmaar
"Staying at this hotel was an incredible and unique experience! The way the old prison has been transformed into a modern hotel is absolutely brilliant. The historic atmosphere is preserved perfectly, and the clean rooms are very comfortable. The staff is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with duties, but they work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to keep the atmosphere and everything else perfect. Both the breakfast and parking options were excellent. Highly recommended!"
Golden Zaan Hotel Amsterdam Zaandam
"Overall cleanness and staff communication can be improved, however this hotel/hostel is pretty useful for group or family at comfortable and affordable neighborhood. Air conditioning is good even in windowless rooms."
