Learn more about Santorini
Clinging to the rim of an ancient volcano, whitewashed villages cascade down dramatic cliffs towards the impossibly blue Aegean. Wander the narrow cobblestone lanes of Oia, where every turn reveals another perfect view framed by blue-domed churches. The black sand beaches of Kamari and Perissa offer swimming spots unlike any other, with volcanic mountains rising behind sunbathers. Take a boat tour across the caldera to the smouldering islet where the volcano still steams and bubbles. Wine lovers shouldn't miss Santo Wines, where tastings come with sunset views that explain why artists have been drawn here for centuries. For history buffs, the remarkably preserved Bronze Age settlement at Akrotiri reveals a sophisticated civilisation frozen in time by the ancient eruption.

Vogue Suites
"Vogue Suite is truly a hidden gem in Santorini, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island! We arrived early in the morning and had arranged an airport transfer with the hotel in advance. You can easily communicate with Vogue Suite via WhatsApp, and they will arrange a taxi for you for an additional fee. When we arrived, two staff members were waiting for us and kindly took care of all our luggage. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, they upgraded us to a beautiful room with a stunning view of Santorini. Every evening, we could enjoy the breathtaking sunset right in front of our room from our private terrace. While many visitors were standing and waiting for a spot to watch the sunset, we were able to sit comfortably on our own terrace, enjoying champagne and beer from our room. It was such a special experience! Diana, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. She booked a cruise for us and arranged everything we needed. The cruise was amazing, and I highly recommend doing one, it’s the best way to discover some of the hidden and beautiful parts of Santorini. Diana also recommended Kamari Beach and even provided us with the bus schedule, which made it easy for us to visit. We had such a wonderful time! I would definitely stay at Vogue Suite again. I hope to return to Santorini with my family soon! ❤️🇬🇷"
Santorini Palace
"Great staff and good breakfast"
DIAMOND on the cliff Hotel &Suites
"This property was in the perfect spot with amazing views of Skaros rock. Many restaurants nearby and only about a 15 minute walk to Fira. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only slight negative is that parts of the room are very low so if you’re taller then 6 feet you may find yourself hitting your head off a doorway but that’s not the fault of the owners. Amazing stay would recommend!"
Gold Diamond Luxury Suites
"Lovely staff and a nice cool room, loved the sun loungers and a nice spacious pool! definitely recommend"
Zannos Melathron Hotel by Omilos Hotels
"Beautiful hotel and spectacular view from Room 123!!! We loved this site and the location. However, the climb to the hotel must be a consideration, as it is quite a walk up alleys and stairs with the luggage. Breakfast was also delicious. We would return!"
Symphony Suites
"The hotel was really nice, and overall we had a great experience. However, I was expecting our room to be directly in front of the ocean, similar to what was shown in the photos on the website. Unfortunately, the actual room and view were different from what I expected. I just wish the photos had been a little more representative of the room we were given."
Skyfall Suites - Adults Only
"We arrived at Skyfall suites and were immediately impressed. From the start to the finish. The service was top notch, we even did a spa day and had the best massages/facials. The view was so beautiful and I would highly recommend this resort! Thank you sky fall for making our honeymoon magical!"
Maison Des Lys
"An absolutely amazing hotel! Breathtaking views, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast. We would love to come back!"
Ira Hotel & Spa - Adults Only
"My experience at Ira Hotel in Santorini was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was outstanding—every interaction felt warm, genuine, and attentive. Their focus on personalized details made me feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. The amenities were spotless, well-maintained, and always available when needed. You can tell the team takes great pride in keeping everything clean and comfortable. The staff was consistently polite, proactive, and on top of every detail, creating a relaxing environment where I never had to worry about a thing. Ira Hotel delivers not just beautiful surroundings, but a level of hospitality that makes your trip unforgettable. Highly recommended."

Enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com can keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, helping you seize any opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options. With these tools, you'll be promptly notified if prices drop or rooms become available, making it easier to plan your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in a Santorini hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher end, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you discover a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Santorini's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that remains well linked. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
