Even though the location of the hotel was very good, the building and the rooms are very old and down. This was the second worse hotel l have ever stayed. Every aspect of the hotel’s condition was bad! We also booked two rooms for the family. One of the rooms were smelling cigarette too. I will definetely not stay here again and don’t recommend it.

Good location but disappointing stay

Check in online was easy and booking. Upon arrival I was given a number written on a card to access my room which failed meaning I had to visit reception for the guy to come up with a fob to let me in every time which was frustrating. The pillows were too soft and the bathroom had hair on the floor. The location was good as it was a short walk to lots of things.

The building has convenient access to nearby shopping and dining areas. However, the rooms and corridors are painted black with poor lighting, making it difficult to see and use the electronic door pad. The TV didn’t work during our stay, and there was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk. The dining area furniture was always stacked, so it was never possible to sit and use the space.

Stayed for the Euros as close to Cologne. Very simple hotel but everything works. WiFi was ok. They did forget to clean our room but the staff were good and gave us a free breakfast. Would recommend only staying for a night or 2.
