The beach was so easily accessible and there are 3 pools on the property. The grills are right there too!! The white sand beach is SUPREME!!! The unit was great and VERY CLEAN!!!!

It is a very secure resorts with security 24/7. Nice parking garage. The resort is right on the shoreline. We would walk to the elevator, and could get to the pools in seconds and be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. Plenty of seating. Very spacious. Our son loved the pools. We did rent a crib from a local company because there was only a pack and play, and he is particular with his sleep. We appreciated the washer and dryer. We really liked the balcony with the ocean view as well. Good restaurants around and close by shopping.

Room was not clean. Pillows on sofa stained, M Bed creaked, needed updates, kitchen hardly any dishes, Dining chairs stained, lounge on deck dirty, dryer old and rusty - ruined some of my clothes but owner would not replace. Would never stay here again or any condo he owned!

Great place to stay

Our apartment was updated and extremely clean. Pictures cannot show enough how beautiful the view is. We were literally on the beach from our balcony. Kids had fun playing on the beach with toys provided. Netflix and Amazon Prime was added surprises. Kitchen had all we needed to cook, brand new appliances. They also have umbrella and chairs in the unit, so that you do not pay for rentals (you can only place those behind rental setups). Resort was also great with amenities: many pools, cafe, beach bar, nicely decorated lobby and plenty of elevators.

I like the huge room, the view of the ocean, the chairs, umbrella, and the huge bed. Didn't like having to book through Trivago which was confusing. Rather have book through you personally. I prefer phone calls instead of Internet. Check in time was late. We drove over 10 hours didn't realize the time zone difference had to wait even longer for the room to be cleaned. Didn't like the high cost for the room. Oh crab Island is not an Island. Totally Deceiving

Great resort! Super clean & sleek accommodations. Communication was superb! The ammenities were great! The following is for resort mgmt only--My only complaint is that the rule abiding smokers are treated as second class citizens. Smokers cannot smoke on the balcony, and I had no problem adhering to that rule. However, people staying above, below, and to either side were blazing up all night & day (not just tobacco). Therefore, we were not able to utilize the balcony much. I on the other had had to traverse 17 stories via slow elevator just to smoke by a dumpster.....for all the money I spent...sitting by a hot trash heap...really guys?!?! Of course there is a smoking area by the snack tiki bar, but good luck lighting your cigarette or getting adequate shade. Other resorts allow smoking on the balcony and on vacation I shouldn't have to spend that much time traveling to your dumpsters & almost falling through the broken chairs that are deemed smoke pit worthy.

Great place to vacation with the family! We had a two bedroom rental - one bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and a pull out couch in the living room. We traveled with a 13-year-old, 11-year-old, an eight-year-old, and five month old. The beach is close, white sand, and there were a few chairs in the rental that we could take down to use along with an umbrella. The weather while we visited in March was not ideal, and the red flags were out often. However, the pools are nice, clean, and fairly warm. We made the most of our stay. There are a couple of places for shopping for souvenirs within walking distance. There are a few grocery stores that we drove to to stock the kitchen. There aren’t any spices, or basics in the kitchen, so if you are planning to cook, you will need to buy those items from the grocery store. The only real complaint that I have is that only two out of the four elevators were working at the time of our visit. So on busy days, it was a long wait or a long hike up the stairs. Overall, I would say this place was a great find!

Great Place

This was our first visit at Pelican Beach Resort. It was definitely a really good experience for me and my wife. We came to celebrate our anniversary and decided we needed to bring our children next time as well. The room was nice and clean and everyone qas friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone no matter what the occasion.

First beach trip in 10 years

My wife and I took our 3 children on this trip to Pelican Beach Resort. Our arrival was good. The only down side I had was that 1 of the 4 elevators was down, and we had to wait a bit for a cart to carry our luggage to the room. There is designated parking up front for check in and check out, so that helped. The room and stay were great. We didn't have any trouble with noise, and everything in the room was clean. I did not care for the pullout couch bed, but the other beds were comfortable. The room had plenty of things to cook with, and we did not have to purchase anything for what we did cook. There were public, gas grills, but we did not use them. Access to the beach was extremely nice at only about 5 minutes from our room to our reserved spot on the beach, and half of that time was just getting to the elevator and to the first floor. The beach was nice and clean. My family purchased the reserved seating provided by a third party the resort partners with, so we had front row seats to the beach. The staff on the beach made sure no one put their stuff in front of these seats, so we were able to just enjoy our time on the beach. Checkout was similar to check-in, but we did not have to speak to anyone at the desk since we went through another party. 4 of us had to wear a wrist band the entire time we were at the resort, but my 3 year old was not required to wear one. Overall, I wish I did not have to leave, and I would come back to this resort.

Room was very clean and view was fantastic! The elevator had a maintenance issue that prevented it from working for a couple hours. The place was very crowded - however - it is summer and school is out. Overall - it was a nice stay. We would stay there again - just not during school breaks .

This was the best beach vacation. The condo was clean and comfortable. The manager was extremely helpful and checked on us to make sure everything was going good. The staff were nice and helpful too. The food and drinks from the tiki bar and cafe were some of the best. We particularly liked the honey bbq wings. The sand was white and clean. We saw dolphins from our condo balcony. This is the perfect place for families with kids.
