Beware of parking!!
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Broadway with all the bars and restaurants and also to the Ryman where we saw a show. Everything was great except for our parking experience. You would think that we would have been guaranteed a parking spot in the hotel’s parking garage but this was not the case, the parking garage was completely full. We were told by the woman working the front desk who checked us in that we could park in the lot across the street, just scan the QR code on entry and that it was $50 per day (the garage rate was $47 per day). We ended up being charged $297 after parking in the lot for less than 48 hours. When I questioned the people at the front desk they said the parking lot was run by a third party and they charge whatever they want. Had we known that to start with we wouldn’t have parked there!! Other than that our stay was great and we really enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning.
