We did have a very nice stay here but the location was near impossible to find. We drove in circles as Google Maps kept taking us to the exact same Closed Roadway (pedestrians only). It was by sheer luck that we finally ended up at a Restaurant who helped us contact the Location and it happened to be right there, across the street. I don't know the name of that Restaurant so it may be best to find out before arriving and searching that location for Driving Directions. We also had to wait near an hour for the host to arrive, and get us checked in. This is not a Hotel with a Front Desk. Otherwise, we did have a very nice stay and SO convenient. It's not even a minute's walk, up the street, through a small alley, and you're on one of the Main Roads of Tropea. The location is very good. The Breakfast is located in another property, again, near impossible to find and after asking so many people, we finally found it. "It's just down there" does NOT work in Europe. Other than these confusions, we did enjoy it. I'd Book it again now that I know where it is and how to get there.

Property was great, room was clean and everything was good. The unfortunate negative was the AC wasn’t too good. Which should not damper the rating too much but was enough to not give the 5 stars. It was HOT in tropea AC was needed but besides this everything was good !
