The staff was awesome. There was a small shared kitchen. It wasnt the newest inventory but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Wifi was strong and reliable. For that price, it was great. I could walk to Downtown.

A neighbor's rooster crows in the morning and a dog barks. A tiny room with no air conditioning. a small bathroom and smallish bed. Broken tile around the hotel floors. Narrow parking on a hill outside. Inconvenient to any restaurants or stores. Questionable neighborhood. Misleading photos of this DUMP!

El personal es excelente, la limpieza impecable, la ubicación excelente, está viejo, pero todo funciona. Extra: te prestan la cocina y la nevera y el café, té, azúcar y sal es gratis.
La única cosa negativa, el calor es insoportable a pesar del ventilador. No incluye aire acondicionado.

You will not find anything better for this price. I stayed 5 nights and had no problems, it's an excellent location, hot water and wifi. Common areas are clean, and I left a killer book in the book exchange, you're welcome. :D

Good affordable place
This is a great budget option in an excellent location near the colonial center of Santo Domingo. It's clean with hot water and strong wifi. It's not a luxury hotel, but I hope you aren't expecting that at this price. Note that the neighbors have a rooster that will wake you up early. :D The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Excellent no frills guesthouse.

For 12 dollars a night this place was excellent. They have a small kitchen. They even let me use the washing machine without charging me. The workers don’t bother you. This is a game changer because in the DR usually the workers pester you a lot or try to play you for tips.
It is a slightly peculiar place but it’s homey and I would stay there again. The location is also excellent!

I've stayed in c.30 different DR hotels – the good, the bad, and the downright dubious – and this one is actually okay. Good value for this area (less than 2 blocks from Calle El Conde). I'd definitely stay again.

Cheap, perfect for the price
just looking for a room to sleep. Found the perfect place. In the center from Zona Colonial, everything in walking distance or use UBER. just 100 Pesos and you have a save ride to all places.
The room was clean. Bed, Ventilator, Tv. Do not need AC . Missed warm water in the shower, but ok for one or two nights.
Will not call it a hotel, more hostel.
For the price ( night for 650 RDS) nothing better to find in this area
