Great Host and Stay
Mr. Ricky, the manager, went out of his way to help us find interesting things to do and good restaurants. He drove us to and from town for meals, arranged tours, and gave us a lot of information on local flora and fauna. He's a genuinely kind, and interesting person, and made our trip memorable. The beds are a bit hard for me but the beauty of the site and welcoming of the staff more than made up for it. Breakfast and was delicious and large.

A lovely oasis- very happy!
Check in was a breeze! The entire staff was very friendly. WiFi was lightning fast (so nice). The room was simple and clean- no air conditioning in the room but it was not needed and didn’t detract from our stay the slightest bit (early January). I would not hesitate to stay here again. The included breakfast was delicious!! Great coffee, too!

Quite and Peaceful place
Took a few days to visit Cayo with my 81 yr old dad. wanted to find something peaceful, outside of San Ignacio.Casa Caballo...has very nice grounds, the caretaker Ricky, and his wife...are super nice and try to accommodate, in any way...pros- beautiful landscaped cabins, with spectacular vista, birds need a car, or taxi in the middle of nowhere., so bring a book, as no TV...but, we played cards...walked about...and live the grounds....oh yes...mosquitos, are quite active...

Lovely cabanas
We stayed here one of our three nights in San Ignacio between Christmas and New Year’s, but would have stayed here all three nights if we could do it again. The service was excellent, the setting was lovely, and the breakfast delicious. I would definitely recommend taking a taxi to get there and tell the driver that it’s near the hospital. The hotel is only a few minutes from downtown, but our first taxi driver had a bit of difficulty finding this place and even google maps were a bit off.

Beautiful green sanctuary in San Ignacio
We loved our stay at Casa de Caballo Blanco! The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. The staff are amazing people, kind, helpful and full of knowledge about the area. The daily prepared breakfasts are a homemade delight, and different each day. The setting is a gorgeous, green sanctuary. We will stay here any time we visit San Ignacio.

Beautiful site in a quiet spot just outside of town, but close enough to easily go into San Ignacio for dinner and activities. Wonderful local breakfasts, and Ricky is a great local guide who can help set up any adventure in the area.

A beautiful sanctuary
This place is a beautiful, quiet, tucked away bird sanctuary. When you arrive at the property there is no lighting or signs telling you where to go to check in. Can feel creepy and even uncertain if arriving after dark. In the light of day, the place is magnificent. You can tell the owners and care takers of this property love this place. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The property has a limited staff however they care deeply for their guests and aim to please. The included breakfast is homemade with love. Both good and bad, we had to wait for about 20 minutes to check in because the owners were in town accommodating other guests who had no car. The 6 rooms are sparse yet had high quality wooden furnishings. High ceilings make the accommodations feel especially spacious and also allow for the noise of the other guests to echo in your rooms. A great romantic place to stay if you want a remote location.
