I initially was to stay in a different hotel but after one night with poor wifi I walked in to check the wifi speed of this hotel and it was fast. So I decided to book a room for six nights. My receipt showed how much I paid but not for how many nights which I didn't notice until the same receptionist that checked me in called me after five nights that I had to check out. Of course, this lead to an argument but I did not hold it against the hotel as much as the receptionist.
I did like the room I was in towards the back with good wifi and for the most part quiet. So I decided to stay another week and this time booked the room through Hotel.com.
Third and final week, I couldn't book one of the cheaper rooms on the website even though Hotel.com said there was one available and I had to book a more expensive room. The bigger room had a balcony facing Calle Conde which is a 24 hour active street. For me, I could get to sleep but I can see it being too loud for other people because you hear cars honking, dogs barking, and people socializing outside the 24/7 restaurant nearby. This activity is great to watch from the balcony during the day but no so much to sleep through. The wifi is setup such that it is strong in the back but gets weaker as you get to the front of the hotel presumably so that people on Calle Conde can not use the wifi. The more expensive balcony suites are toward the front.
Loved the breakfast as they had scrambled egges and toast everyday and some days pancakes.
