The beach is awesome. Unfortunately, the price one pays is not reflected in the state of the rooms. Too many ruined down details and basic things missing that frankly makes you mad since they are really simple to repair. The staff is amazing but entangled trying to keep up with all the clients demands resulting from the lack of maintenance. It is a shame. This place used to be tops. Not anymore, and certainly not the “delux paradise “ they sell. Even the pool is missing tiles …

This property is located in the best beach in the country. The beach is spectacular, and is walking distance from the rooms. The food in the restaurant is good. The drinks are ok. What was disappointing was this: the apartment didnt have wifi, as was stated when I booked it. Later they explained the wifi is just on the lobby. The air conditioning had to be fixed as it wasnt working when we arrived. Also, we never hot hot water on the showers the whole stay. Other than that, its a great quiet place to have a relaxing time just being on the beach drinking piña coladas.

Hotel was great. Nice beach, pool. Food was good. Very laid back. Mostly a family destination. Despite the number of children it was very quiet. Only complaint would be is that they are building an expansion, could be noisy if your room is adjacent to the construction. Hotel gives you a small wifi hotspot to carry around while you are there.Staff was very friendly.

Very private, romantic. Food was okay. Bar drinks are really great! Loved the personalized service. Easy check in and out. Beach and pool area are not crowded. Beach is within few steps. Loved it!

7. Lots of bugs/lack of pest control
8. First day there housekeeping only made beds--did not clean or empty wastebaskets until we complained.

Paradise in the DR, BUT.....
Coson is a beach in the Dominican Republic just west from Las Terrenas: It IS paradise!.....Coson Bay is located just in the center and is a nice looking apartment complex, with a pool in front and a good little restaurant.....BUT As we book throught expedia, they had appointed us the worst located apartment you would think of in beach front property: the back, overlooking bushes!! 😡 We had to pay extra to get them to move us near the sea (a beach front one).....Other than that, a great location If you are looking for the perfect caribbean getaway on a quiet beach: Don’t forget to hit the supermarket before going in, as the prices in the property restaurant are not the best!!

Great Hollidays.
Tranquility and great for families, short walk to the beach, nice weather, friendly staff, pool and grounds well kept, just need Wi-Fi to be able to keep in touch with friends and family back home and send them pictures.
