Yes there is plenty of parking at the beach and in the parking lots in front of the hotel and my car was safe during my stay. The air conditioning was very cool and the bed was super comfortable. Paula at the restaurant was very sweet and helpful.

However, there is one serious issue: the floor tends to get wet if the air conditioning is not set to a very cold temperature, which can be uncomfortable and even unsafe. The Blok is in a great location with unique rooms. We were able to check in early and get chairs to head to the beach. Dinner at their restaurant was delicious although the greeter was a little rude when the reservation we made through the front desk didn’t show up on her list. The other staff were wonderful. The biggest issue is that the elevator was broken requiring my 78 year old mother to climb 3 flights of stairs.

Very nice spot. Staff are very friendly and rooms are comfortable. If you book the standard room beware that the bathrooms are quite small, but it worked fine for me staying solo. The rooms were cleaned each day and the staff were accommodating to any requests. There’s a nice rooftop with a bar on the weekends (it was closed tues/weds nights I was there). My only (minor) complaint was the lack of good breakfast options. Tea/coffee is free, but otherwise they have a small selection of pastries to purchase. It would have been nice to have more variety (fruit, yogurt etc). Overall a great stay and would stay again!
