The staff upon checkin was awesome. Bryce was adorable, super kind and helpful! The welcome drink was very welcoming! The smores kit was very appreciated! The room had what we needed. The carpet was extremely dirty and the pillows weren't great. There were bugs in the hot tub, but was still enjoyed.

We arrived in South Lake and drove by 100s of motels. I had made reservations at Station House based on reviews. It did not disappoint. It had a lovely lobby, great greeting staff and an excellent lounge area. Coffee machine ground coffee to order. Free welcome drinks. The rooms were fully renovated in a Westernish motif that fit. Price was reasonable, value was excellent. Close to the Casinos but in a quiet area. I highly recommend.

There are not many perks at this hotel. We emptied our own trash and went to front office to get fresh towels. We were there 5 nights and our room was never cleaned. Coffee is the only thing available in the morning. The machine and cups suck. Front desk and office staff were very friendly. The s'more snack kit was awesome.

The location was fantastic -- near the lake and restaurants associated with Heavenly (easily walkable). The price was great also, compared to the other options in South Lake Tahoe. The hotel is showing it's age with its furnishing. But it was clean and well maintained.
