Where do I start? The one good thing about this Motel is the location to Old Town. Very walkable. Now…let’s talk about the room. I get it. It’s a Motel 6 off of a freeway. But, where was the mattress? The blankets? Pillows? Pretty sure it wasn’t even a mattress but a mattress topper. With two horrible “pillows”. No comforter and just a sheet. We didn’t know that we booked and paid for a smoking room. Big mistake. And the pool…it had a green tint to it. This whole Motel was questionable. We didn’t stay the night but opted to leave after a few hours and make the long drive home. (We were on an overnight trip on a motorcycle from Huntington Beach).

Staff as always was wonderful. I guess I booked the wrong room. I always get a room with at least a queen size bed; our room had a full-size bed. It must be in-season now because the cost of the room doubled from our Feb. trip. the room we had was an accessible room. My only suggestion would be there is a need for a shelf in the bathroom and an extra table/stand in the bedroom. We do trust the Motel 6 and know that we can count on a clean and safe room. This is also a pet friendly stay with NO extra charge for our dog.
