Sterling Darjeeling
"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."
Planter's Heritage by Cilantro Collections - Mall Road
"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."
Udaan Dekeling Resort Darjeeling
"Was not aware that the hotel doesn't offer eggs or alcohol. They should have mentioned on their website, especially for international guests."
The Elgin, Darjeeling
"Building is amazing perched on the hillside and the staff were lovely."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more economical option for your stay in a hotel in Darjeeling. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and potentially offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher end, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more appealing rate.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation near key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often tends to be more costly. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. Additionally, you could look into independent hotels situated a bit further out, which are more likely to provide a genuine and budget-friendly experience.
